Attention Members: Time to step up and a take a leadership role in River Region Runners (R3)! New officer elections for 2013-2014 will take place at the next membership meeting on June 20, 2013. R3 has the 4 following elected positions (from the R3 Constitution):
President - To preside over meetings, represent this club in the RRCA, call special meetings, appoint committees and chairpersons thereof, and break tie votes.
Vice President - To assume the powers of the president in his or her absence, to take on special assignments as requested by the president, and vote.
Secretary - To record minutes of meetings, to keep a file of such minutes, to take on assignments involving correspondence and the keeping of records as requested by the president, and vote.
Treasurer - To administer all financial matters, to have authority to disburse necessary funds, responsible for financial management, accounting, and vote.
R3 Elections Chairman Jim Larkins encourages participation in the elections process:
“We appreciate the contributions of the current officers, all of whom have served several years.
